A Purposed Shift from Heaven

I’m not sure if Amazon will allow me to do separate reviews so I will do my best to condense how greatly the authors have touched me. I have recently released my book My Pearls Are Rare and so many of these women have confirmed my story. I know what it's like to be looked at as only beauty and no voice (Ebony Combs). It takes so much to 1) Pour your heart out the way these women have done 2) Come together in such a powerful collaboration. The first quote in the introduction brought me to tears (Nikki Woods). We can do so much more as women if we can come together. Kaye Caldwell, I know about being in corporate America and having an emotional cap. Thank you for talking about the emotional shift that must take place. I love the way some stories are similar but are experienced and delivered in such a unique way. I’m more inspired today than I was yesterday to help other find their voice hidden in their beauty. Congratulations and thank you all for sharing.

I prayed for the words that could adequately express my feelings for this book and still fear not doing it justice. I am never at a loss for words, but did it difficult to convey what my heart felt as I saw myself in these pages.This book resonates with the heart's cry of every woman looking at their circumstances and their big dreams while wondering which will win. It gives amazing confirmation that anything is possible! It doesn't gloss over the process, but rather it shows through story after story how pain gives birth to purpose. This book is for anyone lookingfor shift from dreaming and wishing to doing!!!

This book is most helpful for those who have limited information about the services during the war. I was looking for information about the different medals and decorations, but the information included was limited. It's worth a look if researching World War II participants.

I am so appreciative to the author for taking a very complex subject and making it easy for the WWII novice

If you are trying to figure out anything having to do with World War II, this book is a must! This book helped me identify my father's unit, his military rank, where he was stationed and when. Because his records were destroyed at the National Archives in 1973, I had no place to turn for help in understanding the memorabilia I did have. This book explained everything clearly and included important pictures. I am so appreciative to the author for taking a very complex subject and making it easy for the WWII novice.

Title is misleading: Should be called "Testimony of a Very Hard-Headed Man."

This book is mostly the personal testimony of the author, as well as his observations of others lives. How all our lives are shaped by our upbringing; how our fathers treat us, and how well they represent God to us as children.
Mr. frost was a tough fishing boat captain, turned teacher and evangelist, who lived by the "Love of Law" rather than the Law of Love, and he was a workaholic; never home, and when he was, did not know how to express love to his wife and children. The book describes how, through several powerful loving encounters with God, was transformed by the Father's love. What amazed me about his life, was how long I took for this transformation to "stick." He continually reverted back to his authoritarian ways, and had to eventually be transformed again.
Overall, I was disappointed with the book, because it dealt more with the author's personal struggles to escape the baggage of a strict, unloving childhood, and his own rigid, performance-based way of life. That this struggle took so long made me want to slap some sense into the guy. Very little time was spent actually describing "the embrace of a loving God."

About the Author
R. N. Sahai is a retired professor of linguistics from the Central Institute of Hindi, Agra. Other books by R. N. Sahai are Oxford English Hindi Dictionary and Student s English-Hindi Dictionary. He has headed the Post Graduate Department of Sanskrit at DAV College in Dehradun in the past, and has written several works on lexicography. He has also been the co-author of other dictionaries from the Oxford University Press. He has also been a member of an Expert Committee at UNESCO that aims at teaching foreign languages. S. Kumar is a Professor. An authority on the subject of Translation Theory, Kumar has also been a professor of Linguistics at the Central Institute of Hindi in Agra. He has written extensively on Translation Theory, Practice and Stylistics.

Meant for Hindi readers to learn English not the other way around

This not meant for English speakers to learn Hindi. For a beginner to learn Hindi from English this turned out to be an useless book.

No EXACT meanings in English are given. No gender is provided. Even how to use the dictionary is in Hindi. However there are many sentences that are in Hindi and English. For an advanced student, this may be useful. I found it very difficult to understand the Hindi sentences, though I can read the script.

About the Author

Graham Sellers is the API lead on the Vulkan spec. He is AMD Software Architect and Engineering Fellow, represents AMD at the OpenGL ARB. He has actively contributed to the core Vulkan and OpenGL specs and extensions, and holds several graphics and image processing patents.

John Kessenich is the language lead on the Vulkan spec. He is Senior Compiler Architect at LunarG Inc., has been active in OpenGL, GLSL, Vulkan, and SPIR-V development in the OpenGL ARB and in Khronos since 1999. He created the SPIR-V intermediate language and is its specification editor. Great book and a fantastic insight into the birth of EDM

This book exposes what really goes on behind closed doors of all the big dance music events throughout the World told through the eyes of the man who there and saw it all and was behind the birth of the biggest club nights in England - One Nation, Garage Nation & Dreamscape and ended up running large scale events and clubs around the World which saw lots of fun and games in Ibiza, Ayia Napa, Germany, Switzerland, Amsterdam and Toronto!

i was looking forward to reading this, it is just a big ego trip for a thug that wants to show off how hard he is.
