A clever and thought-provoking short story

I downloaded this book because I was very curious to see what Himmler had to say for himself in God's court, after he commited suicide to avoid prosecution. I really liked how Roberta Kagan created his character, all proud, arrogant and 100% convinced that he did nothing wrong when he ordered the death of so many Jews. After all, in his opinion, they were sub-humans and had to be exterminated to allow the Aryan race to prosper. It's amazing how this author made me get so mad at her character, and turn the pages as fast as possible in hopes that I'll see him pay for his sins. And I did get what I wanted, because Himmler is going to be punished in the worst way possible. The ending was really surprising and rewarding. Even though this is such a short story, it's very enjoyable, it has a nice premise and some very clever ideas.

Although fiction, the thought that himmler could be punished in such a way is absolute justice. The story is written to keep your interest & flows very well. Best short work I have read in a long time & I usually don't do reviews.

I loved this book so very much but because it was excepionally short I cant say a lot about it without revealing the end. It has been quite some time since I read it but still think of it often. I actually read it again two days ago and I seldom ever read a book twice. You can probably finish it within a half hour but all I can say is read it!
