In Oh, Lebanon a war-haunted Lebanese-born woman willfully departs from the mores of her upbringing, with surprising results. With agile humor and emotional truth, Shakir offers multiple perspectives on Lebanese women trying to change roles in a new landscape without surrendering cultural identity.

About the Author
R. S. Khandpur is currently Director General, Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala, Punjab. Prior to this, he was Director General, Centre for Electronics Design and Technology of India. He holds 6 patents of innovative designs, has authored 7 books and published over 60 research and review papers.

Out in the blue

The title says a little about what's really in the book.
Just another book describing elemenatry electronics rather than troubleshooting it. A lot of jibberish around the real task "troubleshooting", then some quick views of informative how to find the faults (some to quick to follow at my experience level). The real troubleshooting pages could easily fit in a small 50 page notebook or less. When it comes to the real relevant stuff, then it is quickly done and the real juicy bits are left out. I'm new into electronics and must say that I expect more from a book with such a tile. I must say that I really don't know how on earth this book is aimed for. Not a beginner nor a pro.
Best thing about the book is that it's hardcover. Else a lot more should be expected from a book like this, according to its title. Save your money and get another one (or by mine cheap).

Is not the best source of information

If you are looking for a book that will show examples and techniques of how to fix electronic devices this is not the best option. It does have some basic information about testing basic components but other than is useless.This book falls short in teaching the fundamental techniques for troubleshooting.

Not a good book for people for the human male mind. Lacks special idea transfer. Reads like written by convenience mart worker

The most boring book in Electronics to date, its written in a format similar to having a Indian convenience store cashier. Its trying to be to the point the information is there, its just chooses poor working to express what the information being expressed is about. Its beyond boring, its over complicated for no good reason, it does not even come close to teaching anyone how to troubleshoot. Its so over complicated that its impossible to follow. It takes nonsense like "the electron" instead of telling how it works it gives you that old 1950's particle ball math that is similar to reality in an alternate parallel idea. So add that to the over complicated nature of the book. Heres a better idea go to youtube and see it hands on with your eyes. Electronics can not be taught well to the male mind as the words lack the transfer that video does, allowing the male minds spacial thinking to assist in comprehension. It is what it is. Why learn how a transistor is built from a 4000th party when you can see the inventor in an old AT&T Video explain it to you, the actual guy who invented it. Without the useless babble.

About the Author

Peter Mitchell is Professor in Cognitive Development in the School of Psychology at the University of Nottingham. His main research interests are the development of an understanding of the mind in typical and atypical development and visuo-spatial abilities in autism. He has served as Chair of the Developmental Section of the British Psychological Society (2004-2006) and since 2007 he has served as editor of the British Journal of Psychology.

Fenja Ziegler is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Lincoln. Fenja's main research interest is in imagination and how it relates to social decision-making, mentalising and perspective-taking in narrative and space, which she studies in children and adults.

No importa si no sabes que es el mercadeo jurídico o porque debería de interesarnos a los abogados o si te topaste con este libro en búsqueda de más información sobre el tema. Al terminar, tendrás un entendimiento de esta nueva dinámica de negocios en el mundo del derecho desde la perspectiva de alguien que no tuvo miedo de tirarse al agua en este mundo desconocido para muchos (pero que todos deberíamos de conocer) y contarnos como aprendió a nadar (para que quien lo lea no se ahogue). Super recomendado!

About the Author
Kathryn Hughes was born in Altrincham, near Manchester. After completing a secretarial course, Kathryn met her husband and they married in Canada. For twenty-nine years they ran a business together, raised two children and travelled when they could to places such as India, Singapore, South Africa and New Zealand. Kathryn and her family now make their home in a village near Manchester. The Letter is Kathryn's first novel, and she is busy working on her second, The Secret.

What a story!

I loved this book. It was so well written, the dialogue was realistic, places were described so well that you can see them in your mind's eye. This story will stay with me for months.
